Samsung Galaxy S22: Freshens Up With Purple Hue

A well-known method to update a mid-cycle phone is to add a new color. Apple does this with its iPhones: the iPhone 12 has purple and the iPhone 13 has green. Samsung has added a new midyear color to the Samsung Galaxy S22 phones with a lavender called “Bora Purple”.

Bora, which is Korean for purple. Samsung claims it “blends [s]” the calmness and excitement of blue with the excitement and passion of red. Samsung has previously made phones in purple – the S22 actually comes in violet. However, Samsung’s “violet”, which is slightly pale and washed-out, is actually the S22 in “violet”. The “bora” color, however, is deeper and shimmery and has a little refraction when looking at it from the edge.

Bora is the ninth available color for the S22. The S22 is also available in white and black as well as graphite and violet, blue, pink, and cream. However, the graphite and cream blue and violet colors can only be purchased online by Samsung and not in carrier stores.
Samsung states that the S22 will be available in Bora Purple initially, but it will be available on “new Galaxy devices later this year” which could include the Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Galaxy Z Fold 4 to be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event, August 10.
A phone that is already a success could see a new color. Wave7, a research firm, found that carrier representatives often cited the Samsung Galaxy S22 base model as a top-selling phone, more than the Galaxy S22+.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 – A Closer Look
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is an Android-based smartphone series produced by the South Korean electronics giant Samsung. It was unveiled at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on 9 February 2022. It is the successor to the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20 series. This article will discuss the features of the new device and its pros and cons. To start, let’s look at the phone’s design. The front and back of the device are made of glass, while the rear is made of metal.
The Galaxy S22 comes with a 6.1-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. It also comes with a triple-lens camera with a 50MP main lens and 30X digital zoom. Moreover, the phone comes with an intelligent 3700 mAh battery and a fast 4nm processor. You can also take advantage of the smartphone’s 5G capabilities. While it might not be as fast as the iPhone XS Max, it will still allow you to play games for longer.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 comes with Samsung’s One UI 4.1 interface, which is built for Android 12. It brings with it a plethora of customization options, privacy settings, and a customizable lock screen. Moreover, the One-UI 4.1 interface makes it easier to manage the permissions of installed apps. Another notable addition is the new Samsung S Pen. This stylus allows you to write notes and view photos while using the S Pen.
The camera on the Samsung Galaxy S22 is a strong point. Its main lens features an f/1.9 aperture, while its telephoto lens is an 8-megapixel lens. The telephoto lens is a downgraded sensor, making it less detailed than the main lens. The telephoto lens is a 3x optical zoom, and it works with a lower refresh rate than the hybrid zoom. With this, you can take great pictures in low-light and even portrait mode.
The Galaxy S22 has several advantages over the iPhone. Its long-term support for Android allows you to upgrade four times and get the latest version of Android. In addition, the device also offers five years of security patches, which is more than double what Google offers. Thus, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is the best Android smartphone available. There’s no need to spend thousands of dollars on your next phone. You’ll still get premium features and a great price.
The storage capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S22 is impressive. The phone packs up to 256GB of storage on its base model, and its top-end variants have 12GB of RAM. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated microSD card slot, but there are plenty of other storage options to choose from. Its battery will last you a while, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of space. With that much storage, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is a great choice for everyday use.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 is a modest upgrade over the Galaxy S21. The price tag is the same as last year’s entry-level model – $799. However, Samsung has made minor improvements to the design, including a glass back and the new 2022 silicon. The camera system also receives an upgrade. Ultimately, this phone is a very solid choice for a smartphone. But, as with many other phones in Samsung’s flagship lineup, it’s worth considering whether you need to upgrade for high-end features.
