OnePlus 10T Review 2023

ONEPLUS 10T

If you are looking for a mid-year refresh, the OnePlus 10T is a good option. This phone has an excellent display and fast charging. Yet, it lacks other features, such as a fingerprint sensor or a headphone jack. In this OnePlus 10T review, I will show you what these things mean for you and how they can affect your decision to buy one of these phones. I hope this review has been helpful to you!

OnePlus 10T is a mid-year refresh

The OnePlus 10T is a mid-season refresh of the OnePlus 10 which was introduced earlier this year. It inherits the same design but comes with many internal upgrades. The OnePlus 10 Pro was limited to 80W fast charging while the OnePlus10T gets up to 65W. The device also gets 150W fast charging, a feature that OnePlus before only offered on its OnePlus 10R and GT Neo 3 devices.

If you want to buy a phone now that the market has become more competitive, you might want to opt for the OnePlus 10T. It is a mid-year refresh and is priced well below the flagship. It comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and fast charging technology. It’s still not as powerful as the Pixel 6 but it is a better phone, and it is a much better deal.

The OnePlus 10T has similar specs to the OnePlus 10 Pro, including a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Its largest brightness is 950 nits in auto brightness mode but is set to 60Hz when the display is being used. The OnePlus 10T also has a fingerprint scanner on its back, which is handy when you’re on the go.

It has a fast charging system

The OnePlus 10T comes with a 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition charger. This charger can recharge the phone’s 4800mAh battery in less than 19 minutes. It supports USB Power Delivery (PD) charging, which ensures that your phone’s battery will charge as quickly as possible without compromising the health of the battery. The OnePlus 10T battery will maintain 80 percent of its original capacity after 1800 charges. OnePlus claims that the fast charger is good for the phone’s battery, ensuring that it will remain as viable as possible for years to come.

The OnePlus 10T has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that is rated at FHD+. The screen supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is also equipped with a thousand-Hz touch sampling rate and 950 nits of peak brightness. The OnePlus 10T features a dual-core processor and is compatible with up to 16GB of RAM. Its battery can be recharged in as little as 30 minutes with a USB-C cable.

The OnePlus 10T is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It boasts 3.2 GHz peak CPU speeds and a thirty percent improvement in GPU and CPU efficiency. The OnePlus 10T also ships with Qualcomm’s next-generation 3D cooling system. This cooling system is supposed to keep the device cool and avoid throttling. With a battery this powerful, you will be able to play games in high definition with ease.

It has a great display

The OnePlus tenT has a fantastic display, and it’s not just because of its great resolution. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, the OnePlus 10T’s display is remarkably smooth. Its 120Hz refresh rate is made possible by the company’s HyperBoost Gaming Engine. This engine combines GPA Frame Stabilizer, GPU load control, and a thousand Hz instant touch sampling rate to deliver a remarkably smooth gaming experience.

It has a great display

The OnePlus 10T has a superb display and a powerful processor. The company has also upgraded its camera system, giving it triple-lens technology. The phone has a 50-megapixel main camera with an ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. The camera quality is excellent, and the OnePlus 10T’s cameras have excellent low-light performance.

The OnePlus 10T has a great display, but a few minor flaws make it a poor choice for gaming. It lacks the IP68 rating of the Galaxy S9, and its internal battery is smaller. It also has a lower-resolution FHD+ display. Wireless charging on the OnePlus 10T is also not an option, but the T-Mobile variant does. And if you don’t mind sacrificing a few features, the OnePlus 10T is definitely worth a look.

The OnePlus 10T lacks a hardware mute switch, which could save some room inside the phone. But, a hardware mute switch would need a thicker device and would have taken up space that could be used for the two-cell battery. This is a big issue, but OnePlus seems to prefer a smaller two-cell battery to save space. One more drawback of the OnePlus 10T is the lack of an alert slider. Its UI could use a little more refinement, but, the OnePlus 10T has an excellent display and solid hardware.

It has a camera system

The OnePlus 10T has a decent camera system with a 50-megapixel main camera that takes reasonable pictures in low light. There’s an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP selfie camera. These cameras have Hasselblad branding but are not the best on the market. They don’t provide Hasselblad’s trademark orange shutter button.

The OnePlus 10T’s camera is a little less impressive than the cameras of its competitors, but it still delivers a bokeh effect and cuts a neat ring around the subject. The camera system is also powered by Qualcomm’s new flagship chip, the Snapdragon 880, which did so well on the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro and the LG G4.

The OnePlus 10T is available early in the UK, where it will be available for pre-order. As of now, it has Android 12 onboard, with the OxygenOS 12.1 overlay. Yet, the company hasn’t confirmed if the phone will be receiving the Android 13 update. OnePlus will announce all the goods on August 3rd, so stay tuned for further updates! When it comes to the camera, we’ll be updating this article as we learn more.

OnePlus’ camera system is better than the iPhone 10’s, but it’s not quite as refined as the Hasselblad-tuned lens. That said, the camera system on the OnePlus 10T is still better than its predecessors. You won’t have to worry about the camera quality if you’re on a tight budget though, as the price is considerably lower. The OnePlus 10T comes in at $649 and the OnePlus 10 Pro starts at $799.

It has a textured finish

The OnePlus 10T has a textured back panel that makes it look like it is made of sand. The sand appears to be scattered on the phone’s back panel in both renders and a photo. OnePlus has experimented with textured rear panels before and the OnePlus 10T is the latest smartphone to sport this design. The company has also experimented with glass and plastic panels with metal frames in the past.

The OnePlus 10T uses the same design template as the OnePlus 10 Pro but with some tweaks for cost savings. The phone has Gorilla Glass 5 in both the front and the back and a textured finish on the back. The jade green and moonstone black versions have a smooth finish, while the basalt-inspired dual-AG craft process creates a flickering sand effect that makes the phone shimmer and change appearance in a different light.

A recent leak shows that the OnePlus 10T 5G will sport a textured back panel. The device is expected to launch in India on August 3 and will go on sale in the first week of August. The phone is also expected to be sold on Amazon. The image was leaked by Pricebaba. It shows the Moonstone Black and Jade Green color variants. Although the OnePlus 10T 5G will be available in India on August 3, price information has not yet been released.

It has a curved waterfall edge display

The OnePlus 10T features a curved waterfall edge display, a feature that has attracted many users. Although curved edges don’t actually add any real functionality, they do look enchanting. A phone with a waterfall display has steeper curves, so you might experience touch input errors as a result of the curved edge. Yet, it’s worth noting that this design also has drawbacks.

The curved edge display on the OnePlus 10T gives it a more expensive look than a flat one. The display is also set to Full HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it has a Gorilla Glass Victus layer on top. The curved edge also helps with the phone’s size efficiency in the hand. In comparison, the Pixel 6 Pro feels gargantuan in the hand, thanks to its waterfall edge display.

While the curved waterfall edge display may seem like an unusual feature, it isn’t. The curved display isn’t a new feature for OnePlus. It’s an evolution from the OnePlus 8 and 9 series, which are still among the best phones to date. But if you’re looking for a phone with a waterfall edge display, the OnePlus 10T is probably the best option.
